In celebration of 135 years of tradition and craftsmanship, Flor de Caña, one of Central America’s oldest companies, proudly unveils its most extraordinary creation and its longest-aged release to date: Flor de Caña 35 Years. This masterpiece represents the pinnacle of the brand’s commitment to sustainability, excellence, and quality—a legacy forged by five generations of the family since 1890.

 

Aged naturally and sustainably for 35 years in American white oak barrels at the family’s private reserve, this exceptional rum was born in Nicaragua’s volcanic terroir, nestled between the majestic San Cristóbal volcano and the Pacific Ocean. This harmony of earth, sea, and fire has given the spirit its complex flavor profile and exquisitely smooth finish.

 

Only 350 crystal decanters (700 ml) will be available worldwide, priced at US$4,000, each accompanied by an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. Each one is a work of art, featuring sculpted silhouettes and reliefs that evoke the contours of the San Cristóbal volcano, capturing its power and timeless beauty. Hand-finished and polished to perfection, the decanter highlights the warm, golden hues of the extraordinary liquid within.

Each bottle is crowned with a custom-made obsidian stopper of volcanic origin, individually fitted to its bottle and adorned with a fine leather collar—a symbol of Flor de Caña’s historic commitment to sustainability. It is presented in an elegant walnut case, delicately engraved with illustrations of the lush flora that grows at the foot of the volcano.

100 ml decanters will also be available, priced at US$630 each, presented in an elegant emerald green case.
